Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Associate I to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging electronic products while ensuring adherence to production standards and timelines. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality detectors and gas safety components to our customers in a fast-paced ISO 9001 certified environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform assembly operations including housing, connection box, and rear assembly.
Program and calibrate electronic detectors using firmware flashing, lab testing, and
thermos chamber evaluations.
Conduct basic and complex testing procedures including HIPOT and quality checks.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment in compliance with safety
protocols.
Acquire and follow work orders, batch instructions, and assembly drawings.
Verify all materials, components, and parts before and after assembly.
Package electronic products.
Document data accurately in production databases or work orders.
Flag defective products with proper red tag procedures and escalate as required.
Monitor and inspect tools, workstations, and equipment for operational efficiency.
Transfer completed units to the Quality Assurance team.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly roles preferred.
Experience in electronics production within an ISO 9001 environment is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Familiarity with ESD procedures and proper handling or electronic components.
Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs as needed.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of manufacturing workflows, tools. And documentation.
Skill in identifying, escalating, and documenting production anomalies.
Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and production demands.
Strong communication skills for reporting metrics and status updates.
Ability to multitask and meet production deadlines without compromising quality.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Working Conditions
Work generally performed in a temperature-controlled warehouse/production
environment with exposure to machinery, tools, and electronic equipment. Time may also
be spent at a workstation doing reports, data entry, and documentation. The position
requires standing, use of hands, lifting, and operating machinery. PPE including smocks,
safety glasses, and ESD gear must be worn at all times.
Additional Requirements
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and handling of parts and components.
Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle parts, operate instruments, or use
computers.
Requires strong attention to visual detail.
Ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Typically Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.
Special Requirements
